OUR MISSION: By our music and professional conduct, we wish to promote greater recognition, appreciation and admiration of the history, traditions, and sacrifices of all members of the fire service. The members of DFR Pipes & Drums are all career firefighters within DFR.
Dallas Fire Rescue Pipes & Drums was officially established in 2006.
OUR TARTAN: The Clark Modern tartan was chosen to honor John Clark, DFR's first line of duty death. The significance of the colors: LIGHT BLUE for rank of firefighters; WHITE for the fire officers; and BLACK for their departed brothers.
